Key Responsibilities Engineering and Operational Support
: Provide electrical engineering support across multiple sites, resolving faults and offering technical guidance
: Deliver PPM, reactive maintenance, and self:performed works to a high standard
: Respond to emergency situations and participate in the engineering call:out rota
Compliance and Safety
: Ensure all work is carried out in line with Safe Systems of Work and current health and safety legislation
: Supervise contractors, ensuring inductions and site requirements are met
: Act as a Safety Champion, proactively identifying and addressing H and S issues
Systems and Maintenance Management
: Coordinate planned system shutdowns safely and efficiently
: Maintain plant and equipment to ensure operational reliability and cost:effectiveness
: Keep accurate records to meet legal, statutory, and client requirements
: Monitor stock levels of consumables and critical electrical spares
Resource and Job Management
: Plan and manage workloads across multiple buildings, balancing PPM and reactive tasks
: Raise material requests, obtain quotations, and manage associated documentation
: Manage work orders via CAFM systems, ensuring timely and accurate completion
Personal Development
: Maintain up:to:date knowledge of UK electrical standards, including the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
: Expand technical knowledge across wider M and E systems
: Review O and M manuals and recommend improvements to PPM schedules
: Participate in relevant training, including Low Voltage Authorised Person (LV AP) duties

Person Specification Qualifications
: City and Guilds Parts 1 and 2 or NVQ Level 2:3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
: 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
: Knowledge of SFG20 Maintenance Specification
: Relevant building maintenance and H and S training (e.g. First Aid, MEWP, PASMA, Water Treatment, LMS, BMS)
: Membership of a professional engineering body (desirable)
Knowledge and Experience
: Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems within building maintenance environments
: Experience working within multi:disciplinary technical teams across complex facilities
: Familiarity with CAFM systems, asset management tools, and mobile/PDA technology
