ATP, an RSK Group company, are recruiting for an Architectural Project Lead to join the team based in Loughton. This is a full-time, permanent position.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in the residential sector with proven knowledge of working details of various construction methods.
Responsibilities
* Provide direction and advice on technical/product knowledge and detailing including coordination and workshops with manufacturers.
* Act as part of the Lead Consultant team, which might include managing consultants employed by our client ensuring delivery of their work in the programme.
* Report regular updates to clients.
* Deliver a quality service for all projects that meets and exceeds client expectations.
* Provide and maintain high standards of design, construction and contract management.
* Check drawings and specifications prepared by ATP and the consultant team for coordination, technical accuracy and compliance with appropriate standards.
* Provide architectural detail design advice to clients.
* Prepare technical documentation and oversee the production of drawings.
Qualifications and Experience
* Evidence of excellent design and technical understanding.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Versatile use of media in the development and documentation of design projects.
* Understanding of construction technologies.
* Knowledge of the planning process, policies, building regulations, NHBC standards and all-over technical standards.
* Advanced use of AutoCAD and Revit in preparation of architectural drawings.
