About Our Client
A well-established and diversified group, operating across multiple sectors, is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and develop its sales function. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and shaping the organisation's sales strategy in alignment with long-term business objectives. The Head of Sales will be accountable for delivering commercial performance across the group's business divisions. This includes leading a team of sales professionals, building strategic client relationships, and developing a scalable sales framework that ensures sustainable growth. The successful candidate will combine proven sales leadership with strong commercial insight and the ability to operate at board level.
Job Description
* Define and execute the Group's sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
* Identify new revenue streams, market opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships at senior levels.
* Work closely with the Board and divisional heads to align sales objectives with business priorities.
* Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform commercial decisions.
* Implement robust sales processes, performance metrics, and reporting structures.
* Champion the use of CRM systems and data-driven decision-making to improve pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.
* Represent the Group externally at industry events, trade shows, and client presentations.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven track record in Fit-Out, or Retail Equipment, M&E fit out, manufacturing install, etc
* Experience working with large retailers, or commercial customers winning large projects
* Experienced in Bids and Tenders
* Strong people leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
* Commercially astute with excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver hands-on results.
* Experience in managing multi-million-pound sales pipelines and complex client relationships.
* Proficient in CRM systems, sales analytics, and reporting.
* Comfortable operating at Board/Executive level and contributing to overall business strategy.
