Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Tutor to join our team, focusing on Looked After Children students. You will play a vital role in supporting their academic progress and personal development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects.
* Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
* Support students in developing study skills, self-confidence, and academic resilience.
* Collaborate with carers, social workers, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
* Monitor and report on student progress.
* Attend training sessions and professional development as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience working with Looked After Children or vulnerable student groups.
* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a difference in student's lives.
