We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior ESG Lead - US and LATAM
In this fantastic role, you’ll turn HSBC’s sustainability commitments into real, measurable outcomes across our global real estate footprint in US/LATAM. You’ll lead high-impact programmes like environmental compliance, green leasing, metering, net zero delivery support, and the push to 100% renewable electricity by 2030.

In this role, you will:
* Deliver global ESG programmes/projects (e.g., environmental compliance plan, green leasing, metering roll-out) and coordinate stakeholders and supplier partners
* Drive programme mobilisation into BAU by tracking performance, monitoring delivery globally, and ensuring adoption in US/LATAM
* Own ESG data management and reporting for US/LATAM (collect, assure accuracy/completeness, identify trends/risks/opportunities)
* Support net zero delivery planning by helping develop strategies/targets and progressing carbon reduction initiatives (energy efficiency, renewables)
* Lead renewable electricity progress (RE100) towards 100% renewable electricity by 2030, identifying and enabling solutions (e.g., green tariffs, PPAs, on-site solar PV)
* Put governance, documentation, risk and cost controls in place to manage Corporate Services risk and ensure robust oversight and compliance
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills:
* Strong ESG/sustainability expertise in real estate/buildings, including standards, regulations, and best practice.
* Programme/project delivery capability across multiple geographies and stakeholders, including supplier/partner management.
* Data management and performance reporting strength, with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and insight generation.
* Influencing and communication skills—able to engage senior stakeholders, deliver training/updates, and drive adoption through change
