Job Description
We are looking for Delivery Drivers for a well known organisation based on the Wakefield 41 Industrial Park. The roles will start on 1 June and will initially be 7 week contracts.You must have:
* Minimum C1 licence.
* Valid licence and driver card.
* In date DQC card.
* No more than 6 penalty points.
Job Purpose
* To deliver customer orders to ensure the customer are in receipt of the correct products in a timely and effective manner.
* To work within warehouse to ensure the efficient, safe and accurate receipt and movement of stock resulting in the picking, packing and distribution of customer orders to a high quality of service to all customers.
* To deliver the number of drops assigned to the vehicle route observing road traffic laws
* and customer availability within hours assigned of that particular working day. Typically
* ranging between 15 and 30 drops per day.
* Alternatively undertake the duties of a warehouse operative on occasions when not required to deliver goods or upon completion of deliveries
* Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting
Working hours are Mon-Thurs 06:00-13:30 Fri 06:00-13:00 overtime available.
