Strategic Account Executive (Enterprise AI)
London (Remote)
Certus Recruitment is partnering with a high-growth AI business operating at the intersection of enterprise software, APIs, and customer experience.
They’re hiring a Strategic Account Executive to own and grow a small number of large, complex enterprise accounts.
This is not volume sales. This is high-value, multi-threaded, strategic selling.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of ~15–20 named enterprise accounts — building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing complex deals.
* Build and close pipeline within a defined set of strategic accounts
* Develop deep relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders
* Drive new business within existing accounts (expansion + net new divisions)
* Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
* Engage both technical and commercial buyers
* Position a highly technical AI platform in a business-relevant way
This is a hunting role within enterprise accounts — not farming, not order-taking.
The Profile
* Track record of closing large, complex deals
* Comfortable working a small number of high-value accounts
* Strong stakeholder management (technical + C-level)
* Able to self-generate pipeline (expectation is heavily outbound)
* Commercially sharp and credible in strategic conversations
The Reality
* Quota ~$1.2M
* ~80% self-sourced pipeline
* Long, complex deal cycles
* High expectations — but strong backing and product-market fit
The Opportunity
* High-growth AI space with real enterprise demand
* Small, focused account list (quality over quantity)
* Strong earnings (double OTE)
* Remote role with enterprise exposure
If you’re used to owning large accounts, building relationships at the top, and closing meaningful deals, this is a serious step up in deal size and impact.
