You'll play a vital role in supporting the Engineering Supervisor, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant machinery and electrical systems. As a key contributor to the site's maintenance team, you'll also support the growth and development of your colleagues while keeping workplace standards high. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing the skills and capabilities of other team members Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by following best practices and policies Supervise contractors as needed, ensuring work meets required standards Conduct fault-finding and problem-solving activities on plant and machinery Carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime Lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce equipment failures Identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase plant efficiency What We're Looking For Essential: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering 16th, 17th, or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) Strong electrical maintenance background Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Computer literate with Microsoft Office and email systems Committed to health and safety best practices Strong verbal and written communication skills A proactive and collaborative approach to learning and improvement We're also open to candidates currently working in similar roles, such as: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Industrial Electrician Multi-Skilled Technician Control Systems Technician Facilities Maintenance Electrician Electrical Testing or Installation Technician Automation or Instrumentation Technician RG Setsquare is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
