KS2 Maths & English Interventions Tutor – Part Time

Contract: Part-time, 2–3 days per week, potential long-term for the right candidate
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible KS2 Maths (and potentially English) Interventions Tutor to support pupils in a Birmingham mainstream primary school. You will deliver targeted, responsive interventions that adapt to pupil progress, helping every child reach their potential. The role is part-time (2–3 days per week) with the opportunity for longer-term work depending on impact and school needs, potentially continuing until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver small group and/or one-to-one interventions in KS2 Maths, and English where applicable.
* Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to ensure interventions are responsive and effective.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and intervention outcomes.
Person Specification:
* Strong subject knowledge in KS2 Maths; English experience desirable.
* Experience in delivering targeted interventions and supporting pupil progress.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to the changing needs of pupils.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
