Positions are available within the Engineering department for a two-year fixed-term Graduate Engineer role. These positions are designed for graduates with a MEng / BEng degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply their academic and innovative knowledge gained through their degree to a real work environment with many responsibilities.
The successful candidate will work within the GE Aerospace Wales Engineering team as a Graduate Engineer. The role will be office-based but will require significant time on the shop floor to develop skills and capabilities. During this time, you will learn and develop your skills with the goal of providing day-to-day technical support to maintenance technicians. You will have the opportunity to work with professional engineers on projects that ensure continuous improvements and growth for the business and your team.
The role will provide exposure to hardware from GE90 and CFM56 product lines. The successful candidate will need to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results. This position requires high levels of cross-functional teamwork with departments outside of Engineering, such as operations, planning, quality, sourcing, and EH&S.
As part of the graduate program, the company will support the application for professional accreditation of IENG.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Wales Engineering team in day-to-day activities
* Learn to compile technical documentation
* Verify technical data
* Use computer systems to communicate technical data to the workforce
* Develop analytical skills and introduce process improvements
* Liaise with OEM and customer engineers
Required Qualifications
A minimum 2:1 accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.

* Placement/summer internship within Engineering
