Overview
Southcott is a major supplier of turnkey hydraulic solutions and the largest manufacturer of hydraulic couplings and adaptors in Australia. We are seeking a full-time, permanent Warehouse Manager based at our Perth Distribution Centre to lead day‑to‑day operations and drive performance across the site.
Your Role
Reporting to the National Fulfilment Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the day‑to‑day warehouse and distribution operations across inventory control, receiving, storage, order fulfilment, dispatch, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily warehouse operations across inbound, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
* Plan and allocate labour to ensure productivity, coverage, and workflow efficiency.
* Monitor stock levels, adjustments, and discrepancies, taking corrective action where required.
* Coordinate with internal teams to support demand planning and customer requirements.
* Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to drive performance and accountability.
* Foster strong collaboration across warehouse, sales, and customer service teams.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and workflows.
* Support and lead operational projects, including system and process enhancements.
* Ensure quality standards are maintained and non‑conformances are addressed.
* Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all warehouse activities.
Skills and Attributes
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution.
* Ability to lead teams, drive performance, and build a strong culture.
* Experience identifying and implementing operational improvements.
* Confident with systems and data (PRONTO experience highly regarded).
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Practical, hands‑on approach with a focus on outcomes.
* Forklift licence and valid driver’s licence required.
* Problem‑solving mindset with good decision‑making ability.
* Team‑focused with the ability to build strong working relationships.
