Site Access Controller
Location: Finstown, Orkney | Sector: ESS
We are looking for a reliable and professional Site Access Controller to support the safe and secure operation of a busy construction site. This role is key to controlling site access, maintaining accurate records, and promoting a strong safety culture.
What you'll do
* Control and monitor site access and exit points
* Verify identification and authorisation of staff, visitors, and contractors
* Maintain accurate access records and logs
* Challenge unauthorised access politely and professionally
* Monitor vehicle movements and report incidents or concerns
* Liaise with site management and support daily site operations
* Maintain a visible, friendly, and professional presence
What we're looking for
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
* Confident communicator with a customer‑focused approach
* Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently
* Flexible to work varied hours, including nights or weekends if required
* Committed to health, safety, and high standards
Desirable
* Experience in a similar role
* No SIA licence required
