We are seeking a skilled and reliable Accounts Manager to join our team at our Shotton office. This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm) where you will take ownership of all finance-related matters, ensuring the smooth running of our accounting function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing, issuing, and tracking invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payments
* Ensuring all works are invoiced promptly and correctly
* Monitoring outstanding payments and liaising with clients where necessary
* Managing monthly payroll submissions
* Liaising directly with HMRC regarding EPS (Employer Payment Summary) & FPS (Full Payment Submission)
* Overseeing all company finance processes, compliance, and reporting
* Working closely with the Managing Director and Senior Manager to coordinate project finances
* Providing finance-related training and guidance to internal staff where required
* Supporting the management team with financial planning and ensuring statutory compliance
Requirements:
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Proficiency in Xero accounting software (essential)
* Familiarity with TEAMS asbestos surveying and compliance software (preferable, training can be provided)
* Experience in construction or consultancy services is highly beneficial
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Confidence in liaising with HMRC and handling payroll submissions
