Job Title: Gardener/Grounds Assistant in a Nursing Home

My client is seeking enthusiastic maintenance individuals to work as part of a brilliant team to provide an excellent service to our Home set in beautiful grounds within Harrogate.
Requirements:
1. Experience in maintenance skills, gardening and landscaping, and painting and decorating skills.
Some of your duties:
1. To undertake maintenance work directed by the maintenance manager.
2. Maintain the gardens and grounds according to schedule.
3. Keep the external areas of the home and grounds free from litter.
4. Maintain fences, summerhouse, and other gardening fixtures and furniture.
5. To keep all tools in safe working order.
6. To assist the management team with the provision of 24/7 maintenance service and be contactable on that basis.
7. Assist the maintenance manager to decorate and refurbish rooms and other areas of the home when required.
8. Assist the maintenance manager in ensuring all fixtures and fittings are presentable and in good working order.
9. Assist the maintenance manager to carry out safety checks and routine testing on alarms, emergency lighting, and other equipment.
