Academy Lead Performance Analyst Location: The County Ground with the abilities to travel to other training facilities Reports to: Academy Head of Player Development, Academy Head of Coaching Fixed Term Contract: 40 weeks (July to May); 10 hours per week Salary: Based on the national minimum wage Overall purpose of the job Manage and coordinate the Academy video analysis program Key tasks and responsibilities Personal Development Undertake self-development to ensure knowledge in relation to all aspects of analysis is up-to-date and forward-thinking. Program Design and Implementation Organise weekly analyst timetables (studentships, interns & casual staff) to record and live tag fixtures Liaise with full-time academy staff regarding match day capturing & editing requirements weekly Performance Monitoring Organise the capturing, analysing and sharing of video & data Manage and organise video (collections, members and access rights) Manage analysis platforms to ensure all fixtures are tagged and shared with players and staff promptly Holistic Development Contribute to the delivery of the SEP apprenticeship programme where required Communication and Leadership Ensure the Academy EFL Youth Development Rules are satisfied and documented on the club's audit tool Recruit placement students and provide training, CPD and feedback Multidisciplinary Collaboration Working closely with coaches and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to player development. Onboarding, training and on-going support for coaching staff of the analysis platforms Compliance and Safety Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with the relevant regulations and best practices. Such other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post and to assist the Academy Director. About The Candidate Qualifications ● Degree in Sports Performance Analysis or equivalent Experience Experience of working in at least 1 of the following roles: A football club A sports club University Knowledge and/or experience of at least 2 of the following: Capturing physical testing data Designing physical curriculum and programming Working with young elite athletes Working as a member of multi-disciplinary team ICT experience of FiP, Sportscode/hudl, excel, word and any other software as required to carry out the duties required for the job About The Club https://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/
