Marketing & Merchandising Specialist, Amazon Fresh

Job ID: 10372289 | Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch)

As Marketing & Merchandising Specialist for Amazon Fresh UK, you will own the end‑to‑end execution of online merchandising across Amazon's grocery store. Sitting within the EU Merchandising and Trade Planning team, you will drive best‑in‑class customer experience, strong engagement and topline performance, through effective showcasing of selection and product discoverability, aligned to marketing campaigns.

This role offers a rare opportunity to shape a high‑growth, fast‑moving grocery business at scale, with direct impact on how customers discover and shop for groceries online. You will work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Vendor Managers, Brand Specialists, and central teams to deliver a compelling, commercially effective online store.

Key skills you'll need to demonstrate:

* Commercially curious and data‑driven – comfortable pulling and interpreting performance data, using it to make better decisions, not just report numbers.
* A strong executor with an eye for detail – pride in getting things right, managing multiple work streams simultaneously without dropping the ball.
* A natural collaborator – building effective relationships with Vendor Managers, Brand Specialists, and central teams, and knowing how to influence without authority.
* Customer‑obsessed – thinking about the end customer in everything you do, from how a promotion is positioned to how a storefront is laid out.
* Comfortable with ambiguity – thriving in a fast‑moving environment, adapting quickly when priorities shift, and not waiting to be told what to do next.

Key job responsibilities:

* Owning the planning and execution of UK online merchandising, ensuring the website reflects trading priorities, marketing campaigns and delivers against commercial targets.
* Acting as the UK subject matter expert (SME) within the EU Merchandising and Trade Planning team, managing stakeholder relationships and aligning on priorities.
* Partnering with Vendor Managers and Brand Specialists to develop and execute merchandising packages that drive customer engagement and revenue.
* Monitoring and analyzing merchandising performance, using data to identify opportunities and optimize execution.
* Contributing to the development of the UK trade calendar, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all merchandising activity.

Basic Qualifications

* Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data.
* Experience in stakeholder and communication management.
* Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges.
* Experience in e‑commerce, retail or advertising.
* Experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate, or experience assessing industry talent and trends.
* Experience working with cross‑functional teams across business development, marketing, operations, product development, legal, etc.
