A talented Financial Accountant is required to join a successful and reputable company based in Wakefield. This position will assist a strong finance team with the preparation of management accounts, month end, payroll and other accounting duties. The successful candidate will join a market leading B2B company based in Wakefield who have a very strong finance team. This will be an office based position with a salary of up to £35,000 available along with plenty of potential for progression. Experience with Sage 200 will be required with this position. ROLE DETAILS The successful applicant will work closely with the Management Accountant and wider finance team and relevant stakeholders in the company. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, reporting and preparation of statements while partnering with the wider group to drive commercial improvements. - Preparation of month end accounts - Assist with monthly management accounts - Balance sheet reconciliation - VAT returns - Payroll - Reporting REQUIRED SKILLS The accountant will have the majority of the following experience: - Sage 200 - ACCA certifications, part qualified candidates will be considered. - Excellent communication skills - Good exposure with management accounts Who will suit this role?
