Lockheed Martin (UK) Ampthill is a rapidly changing, dynamic part of the Lockheed Martin Corporation with both domestic and international customers.
It consists of business areas focusing on Platform Systems, Ground Based Air Defence, Special Projects and Weapons, which provide a variety of products and services to the Ministry of Defence and other customers.

What will I be doing?
You will be responsible to the Programme Chief Engineers.
Specific role scope will be subject to assigned programme but will include a range of systems engineering activities:
* Classical requirements management and development.
* Verification Planning.
* MBSE.
* Trade Studies.

What skills will I need?
Some experience of one or more of the following would be very useful:
* Experience of the Systems Engineering full development lifecycle.
* Experience / understanding of MBSE as applied to various programme lifecycle stages.
* Requirements derivation.
* Trade study definition and delivery.
* Definition and monitoring of Technical KPIs.
* System architecture and sub-system derivation.
* Experience in varied architecture frameworks / methodologies preferred.
* Experience in working in a classified setting.
* Be able to multi-task: candidate will be required to lead and coordinate SE across multiple programmes
* Strong communication skills required to liaise with Senior Stakeholders both within the company and customers.
We are considering Engineers from all backgrounds where people solve complex problems, and you will need to be able to achieve a UK SC Clearance for these roles.
Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
