The role is based near the picturesque town of Aldershot and requires a skilled, enthusiastic Associate Highways and Drainage Engineer with demonstrable design experience, who can lead a dedicated team through the delivery of challenging, high‑profile projects.

Responsibilities
* Oversee infrastructure design, primarily for drainage and highways
* Deliver a range of high‑profile projects, especially residential development sites
* Liaise and manage working relationships with clients and other stakeholders
* Manage a diverse array of people and projects
* Contribute to Business Development opportunities and work to win new projects
Required Skills and Experience
* UK Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline
* Extensive experience in infrastructure design, focusing on drainage and highways
* Chartered status with a recognised Professional Body (e.g., ICE or CIHT)
* Demonstrable experience managing client and stakeholder relations within the industry
* Considerable experience of people and project management, delivering projects within deadlines, budgets and standards
* Familiarity with DMRB, MCHW, LTN 1/20, Manual for Streets and other UK design standards
* Working knowledge of Section Agreements S38, S278, S102, S104, and S185, including relevant planning applications
* Experience supervising site‑based works and ensuring compliance with specifications
* Highly competent in producing, amending, and submitting technical documents
* Proficient use of AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage, etc.
* Full, valid UK driving licence
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Higher degree in a related discipline
* Experience working closely with Local Authorities on technical approvals for highways and drainage
* Working knowledge of surface water and foul drainage design principles
* Experience in Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
* Involvement with Business Development activities
