About Us
The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is our front door to children's social care and receives all safeguarding referrals for children in Oxfordshire. With the help of our partner agencies, we quickly identify risks to vulnerable children and provide a safe and timely response to decide the most effective interventions.
About the Role
Our aim is to identify risks to vulnerable children at the earliest possible stage, and to provide a safe and speedy triage to determine the most effective interventions so that children, young people, and their families can thrive.
Working alongside colleagues in Children\'s Social Care, Emergency Duty Team, Thames Valley Police, Oxford Health and Oxford University Hospitals, Education, Probation, Fire and Rescue, South Central Ambulance Service, Youth Justice and Oxford City Council, you will have the wrap around support that\'s essential for you to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families in a fast paced and positively rewarding role.
As part of our team, you will:
* Use your knowledge, passion, and experience to be the first point of contact for children, young people, and their families.
* Proactively triage calls, collate and assess partner information, making recommendations to achieve positive outcomes.
* Provide support and interventions to vulnerable adults, children and families to address safeguarding concerns.
* Be responsible for newly referred cases until they are closed or signposted to the relevant service.
No day is the same, which will give you the opportunity to continuously grow your skills and knowledge with our training and leadership support.
