Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Kingswood, South Gloucestershire
Pay: Starting at £100 per day
ANZUK Education are seeking confident, skilled professionals ready to step into a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant role, taking on a more involved position within the classroom. This includes leading KS1 and/or KS2 lessons when required, supporting lesson preparation, and contributing directly to teaching and learning. Requirements of a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):
* Demonstrate a minimum of six months of hands-on experience working with children in an educational setting
* Hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of safeguarding
* Legal entitlement to work in the United Kingdom, with appropriate documentation
* Demonstrate proficient communication and interpersonal skills, highlighting the skill to engage with students of varied learning needs
* Display patience, empathy, and a genuine dedication to supporting children, especially those with SEN and SEMH requirements
* Capable of collaborating effectively within a team, cultivating an inclusive learning environment
Please note: Possession of a Level 4 Teaching Assistant Qualification or a Degree-level qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
