With a reputation for quality and reliability, we are now looking to strengthen our digital presence through a skilled and creative Website Designer / Social Media Manager.
Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and driven individual to manage and enhance our online presence. This hybrid role combines website design and maintenance with strategic social media management, ensuring that our brand is presented consistently, creatively, and effectively across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Website Design & Management
* Maintain and update the company website (content, product listings, promotions, etc.)
* Improve user experience (UX) and ensure responsive, mobile-friendly design
* Ensure website SEO is current and effective for maximum visibility
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement online campaigns
* Monitor website performance and troubleshoot technical issues
Social Media Management
* Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok etc.)
* Develop and execute monthly social media calendars aligned with brand goals
* Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers and messages
* Track analytics and adjust strategy based on performance insights
* Stay up to date with trends and emerging platforms to keep content fresh and relevant
Requirements
* Proven experience in website design and/or front-end development (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, or similar)
* Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
* Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics
* Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)
* Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand consistency
* Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills
* Basic photography/videography and editing for content creation
* Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp)
* Knowledge or passion for food and the wholesale/retail industry
* Familiarity with PPC and paid social media campaigns
