Role Purpose MSO is the leading Mortgage Sales and Originations platform in the UK working across Brokers and Lenders of all sizes to deliver multiple user journeys for mortgage applications. Our first mission is to make mortgage applications easier for everyone. Working with the Mortgages teams, you will lead the design, development, delivery and support of our innovative Mortgages integration solutions. Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on… Lead analysis, design and documentation of functional solutions for our integrations to enable the end to end flow of business between MSO and the client's application eco-system Lead requirements elicitation and documentation, which may include leading client workshops Detailed analysis of the data requirements for interfaces including data schemas in yaml, xsd, wsdl as appropriate Ensure that business and functional solutions are fully defined, meet the needs of the business case and customer requirements and are approved by the customer and key stakeholders Provide estimates for analysis work packages across projects Manage and report on all analyst activities for the rest of the team when acting as Lead Analyst Lead the development of document and process quality standards. Ensure standards are upheld Perform functional / integration testing on projects as required, to ensure quality of delivery Resolve complex issues, defects and queries raised at any phase of development or production in a timely and professional manner Build knowledge of the business and software environments Use knowledge of development processes, deliverables, methods and tools to contribute to improvements, taking a lead in post-implementation reviews. To be successful in this role You will be a proactive, self-motivated Senior Business Analyst with experience of Business / Systems Analysis in Financial Services ideally within Mortgages. You'll have significant experience of leading a team through full lifecycle project implementation working in Agile and Waterfall development methods, taking ownership of project tasks and ensuring successful delivery. You will have knowledge in web data formats (json, xml) and service oriented architecture implementations and have hands-on experience of relational databases with exposure to Source Control (eg Github), Release Management, Testing and Task Management. Ideally you'll have ISEB Accreditation in Business Analysis professional qualifications in CeMAP, CertFP or similar. You are an analytical thinker, resilient and working well under pressure with multiple projects and priorities. You have a logical approach to solutions and problem solving and seek appropriate support when required. Communicates in a clear, concise and unambiguous manner, and does so regularly and to clients and internally.
