I am delighted to be working with a North East business, with international links and who are embarking on an exciting time of transformation and change on their appointment of a Supply Chain Manager.
This leadership role, will take a stance in transforming and developing the supply chain, purchasing and logistics department within a growing business. As a people leader, you will be responsible for developing and progressing the surrounding team, as well as leading from the front and taking ownership of decisions and communicating effectively with the surrounding team. You will be a go-getting individual who will be a problem solver and take action to implement strategy, build a robust supply chain and develop an effective and cost-effective solution, including building of robust contracts, working with stakeholders to develop relationships and driving forward the importance of the purchasing, supply chain and logistics team within the wider business.
To succeed in this role, you will be a proven supply chain leader who has a track record of providing and implementing solutions and developing a successful supply chain strategy. You will have experience working with a senior leadership team and be able to problem-solve and deliver results. As a proven leader, you will have experience of supporting and developing the team around to ensure the best results. You will have experience of developing stakeholder relationships both internally and externally and be equipped to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
