CNC Operator
Location: Birmingham
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience operating CNC machinery in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating CNC machines in line with production requirements
* Loading and unloading materials and components
* Monitoring machine operations and making basic offsets/adjustments
* Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment (verniers, callipers, micrometers)
* Reading and working from engineering drawings
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Reporting faults or issues to supervisors
Requirements
* Previous experience as a CNC Operator (lathe or mill)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Basic understanding of CNC controls (Fanuc / Heidenhain - beneficial)
* Good attention to detail and quality standards
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
