We seek a committed and enthusiastic teacher of Humanities to join our friendly and well-resourced department. The department has a strong ethos of collaborative working across all key stages.
Principal Responsibilities
1. To plan, deliver, and teach Geography and History lessons and sequences of lessons to meet the individual, personal, and academic developmental needs of students, fostering their capacity as independent learners.
2. To follow the Scheme of Work and assessment programme provided by the Key Stage Coordinators in Humanities to ensure all students make progress.
3. To be accountable for student progress by liaising with teaching and support staff to monitor and support individual children and teaching groups.
4. To participate in the development of appropriate syllabuses, materials, and schemes of work.
5. To serve as Form Tutor of an assigned form and carry out related duties in accordance with the general job description of a Form Tutor.
