What you’ll be doing
1. Implements Business Change strategy across the multi-programme and project teams delivering functional and technical change to the BT Group.
2. Executes a range of activities in delivery of the multiple Business Change workstreams embedded within programme and projects.
3. Ensures participation and support in the development and implementation of the BT Group’s strategic projects.
4. Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in Change & Transformation.
5. Participates in the development, communication and implementation of new principles, policies, and processes across the BT Group ensuring stakeholder visibility.
6. Implements the delivery of change initiatives such as training, communication and change enablement.
7. Executes the analysis of complex data, including interpreting and recognising trends and patterns, comprehension of complex information, and identifying additional data sources or best practice to help devise solutions.
8. Enables the business through organisational and change portfolio context, creating connectivity to change happening elsewhere in the group.
9. Ensures change needs are understood and appropriately planned for in the change portfolio.

24. Problem Solving – Identifies root causes and proposes practical, evidencebased actions.
25. agile & PI Planning – Operates within agile cycles and prepares inputs for PI/portfolio planning.
26. Workshop & Facilitation – Designs and runs sessions that unlock decisions and drive alignment.
Experience you'll have
27. Built and presented business cases with cost models, options, risks, and benefit projections, and followed through into benefit realisation tracking.
28. Handson budget tracking & forecasting (Opex/Capex awareness, variance analysis, monthly reporting), escalating risks with recovery actions.
29. Exposure to contracts, suppliers and procurement (SoWs/CRs, basic commercial evaluation, valueformoney and performance reviews).
30. Demonstrable financial and business acumen (understands KPIs, drivers of performance, and applies financial principles to projects/programmes).
31. An understanding of finance structures and reporting systems.
32. Ability to deal with multiple competing suppliers.
33. Ability to effectively matrix manage geographically dispersed people, including matrix management
34. Ability to translate complex issues into simple explanations
35. Uses data analysis to evidence issues, quantify benefits, and inform commercial recommendations (comfortable with Excel/ PowerBI-level analysis).
36. Strong business analysis foundations (requirements elicitation, process modelling, acceptance criteria, traceability).
37. Excellent JIRA, and PowerPoint skills
38. Communication – Experience of communicating and presenting to Director level stakeholders progress, risks and issues of key programs.
39. Stakeholder Management – Experience of working with other organisations in BT, both internal and external to technology
40. Delivery management – You drive for success against delivery commitments, articulating clearly progress, risks, issues and continually seek mitigations to drive for successful outcomes.
Preferred experience that a person in this role is likely to have
41. 3–5 years in business change, BA/PO, delivery or commercial analyst roles (or equivalent mix), including at least one sizeable change landing.
42. Evidence of measurable outcomes (e.g., % efficiency gain, £ benefit realised, cycletime reduction).
43. Practical experience with business cases + budget tracking, not just theory.
44. Demonstrable stakeholder influence beyond immediate team (e.g., working with Finance/Procurement or external suppliers)
