11127 - 15-hour Prescription Delivery Driver - Fixed Term Contract. We are looking to recruit a 15 Hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a fixed term contract to work between at our 447-branch located at 26 Otley Road, Guiseley, LS20 8AH. The required working hours are: Monday to Friday, 14:00-17:00.
You will deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes, providing a professional service standard to customers and Pharmacy Teams. You will portray a friendly, professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand. You must be able to work under pressure to deliver within the designated timeframes.
Reimbursement for mileage undertaken on business journeys will be at 40p per mile up to 10,000 miles, after which 25p a mile will be reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines. Fuel receipts should be obtained for each visit to the petrol station, and the mileage claim submitted weekly. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure prescription items are delivered in line with the company\'s regulated procedures. This role requires basic computer skills to plan and print daily routes in branch before starting deliveries. You may also be required to assist with PR activities to increase business. You are required to use your own vehicle for this role; therefore your personal insurance policy must allow for business use. It is advised that you contact your insurer to obtain information regarding this prior to attending an interview. The term “business insurance” refers to the vehicle only, and not the contents. The Company may make a financial contribution to the business aspect of your insurance upon receipt of documentation showing any increased premium. The successful candidate must have excellent people skills, as this is paramount to the role. You will work as part of a well-established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service. Qualifications
* Great people skills with the ability to provide a professional service standard.
