Maintenance Engineer

Make a difference where it matters most. We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading provider of healthcare and life science solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your engineering expertise in a role that directly supports the NHS, protects vulnerable patients, and contributes to infection prevention.
What You'll Do
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
* Overseeing contractors and service engineers.
* Performing routine tests and supporting validation processes.
* Managing spare parts and advising on replenishment.
* Participating in the on-call rota and occasional travel to other sites.
What We're Looking For
* Apprentice-trained engineer (or equivalent).
* Minimum 2 years' engineering experience in facilities or manufacturing.
* Mechanical or electrical qualification/training.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Full right to work in the UK.
Useful Backgrounds
* Experience with the following equipment, standards, or environments would be an advantage:
* Boilers and steam systems
* Autoclaves and sterilisation units
* Washer-disinfectors
* Medical device or pharmaceutical facilities
* CfPP and HTM 01-01 guidelines
* Other regulated environments requiring strict compliance and validation
