JOB TITLE – Project Manager LOCATION – Aldermaston DEPARTMENT – Managers HOURS - 9 Day Fortnight SECURITY CLEARANCE - SC/DV Working for NSG NSG Environmental Ltd has been delivering work programmes in the nuclear industry for over 40 years. Traditionally in the areas of decommissioning and waste management, NSG now has a broad customer base and provides a wide spectrum of services across the nuclear project lifecycle, ranging from expert consultancy support, R&D and engineering design to rekit and refurbishment, site installation services and high-hazard physical decommissioning works, amongst others. This work is delivered at NSG’s own offices and purpose-built facilities and nuclear sites across the UK. The delivery and management of these projects and programmes of work is carried out by a skilled workforce composed of both white-collar and blue-collar personnel in technical, administrative, and physical roles. The Role Ensure projects are delivered safely within budget and to programme. Act as the point of contact to all stakeholders and for all aspects associated with project delivery. Monitor work activity and progress in conjunction with the appropriate manager/function head to ensure all projects run within programme and plan. Maintain and manage a risk register and implement risk mitigation actions as necessary. Compile project status reports, narrative, and variance. Manage monthly budget, spending, and forecast spending. Ensure high levels of Quality are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and manage the safety performance on the project. Qualifications and Skills Degree or HND in project management or related engineering discipline. IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ or appropriate formal Health & Safety qualification. 5-10 years’ experience in a project delivery related role. Client-side Project Management Experience. Working in live office/commercial environment. Experience in delivering NEC Contracts. Managing multiple projects £10m. Previous experience working with LV / HV electrical projects.
