Overview
Kings Park Hospital in Stirling, part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare, is seeking a Theatre Practitioner to join their team in the Theatre department.
This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, providing staffing support during busy periods and covering staff absences.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the surgical team with instrument preparation, maintaining sterility, and supporting the Anaesthetist with equipment and patient care.
* Adhere to infection prevention policies.
* Set up operating theatres according to surgery and patient needs.
* Check surgical and anaesthetic equipment before use.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team for efficient surgical operations.
* Support a positive theatre environment.
Candidate Requirements
* Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).
* Experience or training in a theatre environment, especially in orthopaedic scrub.
* Knowledge of infection control, manual handling, and patient safety.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly.
* Strong communication skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to safe practice.
Salary & Benefits
