About the role
Are you on the lookout for a cyber security role where no two days are the same? Well, we’re hiring a Security Operations Engineer to take on a mix of proactive security engineering and fast-paced SOC operations.
In this role, you’ll work with a modern security stack, deploying and configuring solutions, improving tooling and automating responses to keep clients protected. You’ll also handle complex incident investigations, threat hunting, and escalations that will give you plenty of variety and challenge.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys working directly with clients and wants to grow their expertise in a supportive and forward-thinking team.
In the role you will:
1. Deploy and configure security solutions for clients
2. Enhance SIEM, EDR/XDR and wider tooling
3. Investigate incidents and provide expert remediation guidance
4. Hunt for threats and vulnerabilities across client environments
You should have:
5. Experience in a SOC or Security Operations role
6. Hands-on knowledge of SIEM and EDR/XDR tools
7. Understanding of incident response and core networking
8. Strong communication and client-facing skills
