As part of their continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Trainee Sales Representative to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to build a rewarding career in B2B sales within a respected organisation in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
THE ROLE
As a Trainee Sales Representative, you will support sales operations by learning the full sales cycle. This includes prospecting, lead generation, solution presentation and account management. You will gain strong knowledge of multifunctional devices, print management software and workflow solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Support senior sales representatives with customer visits, proposals and account management.
* Learn to identify and develop new business opportunities within a defined territory.
* Assist with preparing customer quotations, tenders and solution proposals.
* Take part in customer demonstrations and product training sessions.
* Maintain accurate sales records and activity reports using CRM systems.
* Handle inbound sales enquiries and follow up on marketing-generated leads.
* Build an understanding of customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
* Deliver a consistently professional and customer-focused service.
* Attend internal training and manufacturer-led product courses.
ABOUT YOU
* Full UK driving licence. A clean licence is preferred.
* Motivated, enthusiastic and keen to build a sales career.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Professional attitude with a strong customer service focus.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* IT literate including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous sales or customer service experience, ideally in B2B or technology.
* Understanding of print management or workflow solutions.
* Confident communicator comfortable speaking to business clients at all levels.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
* Structured in-house training on systems, procedures and sales methodology.
* Full product and solutions training from the manufacturer.
* Mentoring and field support from experienced sales professionals.
* Clear progression pathway to Sales Executive or Account Manager.
