Role overview
You will provide daily cover support, helping across a range of classes focused on PMLD and complex needs. Your role will ensure continuity for pupils, maintain structured routines, assist with communication and sensory strategies, and support pupils’ engagement and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
* Cover classes and support pupils with PMLD and complex needs in structured routines.
* Use sensory supports, communication systems and assist with personal care as needed.
* Support behavioural and emotional regulation with empathy and consistency.
* Work closely with staff to ensure seamless transitions and continuity.
Person specification
* Some experience/supportive interest in PMLD or specialist SEND settings.
* Flexible, calm, observant and strong communicator.
* Must have a full driving licence and be willing to travel across sites.
* Enhanced DBS (child & adult) or willingness to obtain.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
