Are you a highly skilled technician with a passion for precision and problem solving? We're looking for an experienced Warranty Technician to join our team, someone who thrives on complex repairs, values accuracy in documentation, and enjoys making a real difference to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and resolve advanced faults using OEM diagnostic platforms and tools.
* Perform major mechanical repairs including engine and gearbox replacements.
* Conduct root cause analysis and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
* Use specialist equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, smoke testers) for accurate testing.
* Complete final road tests, re‑calibrations, and system resets.
* Accurately document all findings and repairs for warranty submissions.
* Liaise with customers to explain diagnostics and build trust.
* Support MOT testing and Pre‑Delivery Inspections when needed.
* Mentor junior technicians and share best practices.
* Maintain workshop standards and compliance with DVSA and Health & Safety.
Qualifications
* IMI Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified technician.
* Proven experience in advanced vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
* Strong communication skills, especially when dealing with customers.
* High level of accuracy in administration and documentation.
* MOT testing qualification (or willingness to support in this area).
* A proactive, reliable team player who takes pride in their work.
