The Role: As Assistant Accountant you will provide an effective accounting management service to Deli Lites to include all areas of accounting, banking, cash-flow and liaising with external bodies. As Assistant Accountan t you will echo the quality, legality, and authenticity of all our values at DELI LITES and give customers the opportunity to achieve their extraordinary results through the passion we have for our people and food. Duties : Assist with the preparation of all management information, to include daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports and identify trends and generate insights into same. Assist the management account in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including the maintenance of supporting schedules and preparation of associated journals, including but not limited to Rebates, Fixed Asset Register and HP Schedules. Preparation of Group subsidiary accounts on monthly and annual basis. Being responsible for the timely administration of various grants the company may have access to, such as completing claims submissions and audit enquiries. Timely and accurate submission of VAT returns and other regulatory returns. Various other related tasks and projects to support the company’s management teams.
