Project Engineer(s) – Derby. Salary: up to GBP46k plus generous benefits; depends on experience.
Our established and highly successful Derby based niche sector client offers a range of highest quality services that encompass Project Management and Implementation, Consultancy and Software Development to blue chip clients worldwide. As part of an ongoing planned programme of strategic growth, they are now recruiting highly skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated professional Project Engineers to complement the existing Industrial Automation team.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement and test controls and integrated systems as part of a team.
* Program PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function Block or Statement List methods.
* Configure SCADA software packages and design user interfaces.
* Use high‑level programming languages (C, C++, VB, VBA) to support system integration.
* Design and configure IP networks and ELV electrical panels.
* Configure CCTV, PA and telephone systems over an IP network.
* Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site commissioning with formal client witnessing.
Qualifications
* Qualified as a professional engineer to at least HND or above in control, electrical, electronic or software engineering.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Minimum 2 years experience delivering control / integrated systems using the above skills.
* Strong technical motivation and willingness to learn across a wide range of technologies.
