Are you ready to lead with purpose? As the Principal Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in shaping our occupational therapy services. This strategic position combines clinical expertise with leadership to ensure our services meet the highest professional standards. You will be instrumental in promoting best practices and enhancing the independence of those we serve. In this dynamic role, you will: Lead with Vision: Develop a shared vision for occupational therapy services and drive service transformation. Ensure Clinical Excellence: Act as the professional lead, promoting high-quality, evidence-based practice and conducting clinical audits. Develop Talent: Mentor and support staff, ensuring compliance with professional standards while fostering a positive team culture. Guarantee Quality: Set and measure quality standards to improve service delivery and outcomes. Collaborate Strategically: Work with other professionals and agencies to enhance service improvements and ensure compliance with statutory duties, including the Care Act 2014. To thrive in this role, you will need: A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and valid HCPC registration. A strong understanding of community care services and legislation affecting adult social care. Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) and a commitment to lifelong learning. We are looking for someone who: Demonstrates strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and service users.Has the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively. Shows resilience and a commitment to excellent customer care. Is skilled in using IT and digital tools for assessment and reporting.
