Security Engineer – Palo Alto, TerraformUp to £750 per day (Inside IR35)Remote6 monthsMy client is looking for a hand’s on Security Engineer with strong expertise in building and automating secure network infrastructure. Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Security Engineer within largeplex organisations
2. Strong background in policy-based security controls, including: Data Loss Prevention (DLP), TLS/SSL inspection policies, SASE platforms – ideally Palo Alto Prisma and/or Zscaler
3. Hands-on experience with network security technologies: firewalls, VPN, Zero Trust, SD‑WAN
4. Proficiency with Palo Alto (VM‑Series) and related security tooling
5. Good understanding of IAM and PAM/PIM solutions
6. Experience performing incident response, troubleshooting, and security operations
7. Familiarity with IaC (Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Nice to have:
8. Knowledge of cloud security (Azure or GCP)
9. Experience integrating SIEM platforms
10. Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and SD-WAN optimization
