Our client is an industry leading organisation operating within the industrial and manufacturing sector, based in Solihull seeking a Logistics Administrator to join them on 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. Job Description
* Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics documentation
* Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
* Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork
* Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies
* Support the logistics team with data entry, reporting, and general administrative tasks
The Successful Applicant
A successful Logistics Administrator should have:
* Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or administrative role
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
* Ability to prioritise workload and work in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of shipping processes and logistics terminology is desirable
