The Role
As an Estimator, you will be a key contributor to the tendering process, producing accurate and competitive cost estimates that support the company's continued success.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
* Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
* Collaborating with internal teams including commercial and project delivery
* Supporting bid presentations and client engagement where required
About You
* Proven experience as an Estimator within construction or refurbishment
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of tendering processes
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
* Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
