Interim Systems Implementation Project Accountant - Charity Sector
Location: Bristol (Hybrid - 3+ days on-site preferred)
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: 6 months initially
Day Rate: Competitive (outside IR35 possible)
We're working with a well-established charity based in Bristol that is preparing for a finance systems implementation project. They are seeking an experienced systems implementation specialist to lead and manage the end-to-end process, from planning through to delivery.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, technical configuration skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across finance and non-finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the full lifecycle of a finance systems implementation project
*Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and ensure successful configuration and coding
*Liaise with finance and non-finance stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption and integration
*Provide detailed documentation and support change management throughout the process
*Ensure data integrity and system alignment with financial reporting needs
What We're Looking For
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Proven experience leading finance systems implementations
*Charity sector experience highly desirable
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Detail-oriented with hands-on configuration and coding capabilities
*Available to start in September 2025
