Are you interested in working for an award-winning social care charity?
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) play a vital role within Enable by making a positive difference every day in the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but your role will involve supporting individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their goals and outcomes—whatever they may be!
Support needs vary among those we support, so your tasks may include personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support, while helping expand their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around each individual, working collaboratively to ensure their safety, wellbeing, and aspirations are met.
The Best in You Brings Out the Best in Me
The people we support have diverse interests, hobbies, and aspirations similar to ours; they often lack opportunities to pursue them. A career with Enable is rewarding and diverse. When you perform at your best, you can truly bring out the best in those we support.
Let us introduce you to Rose:
Rose is a young lady who enjoys life. She is outgoing, socialising with friends at local lunch clubs, craft workshops, and attending classes at the gym. She enjoys activities like pantomimes, musical events, and trips away. Rose also enjoys walks, relaxing at home with her tablet or TV, and communicates using methods other than verbal speech.
Rose lives in her own home, supported by our team. The usual shift pattern is 8am - 11pm, including overnight support.
Would you bring your best to help Rose live her best life?
If you share these interests and are committed, dedicated, and eager to support Rose, please apply now! Enable values your contribution to creating an equal society for people with learning disabilities. No prior care experience is necessary; we recruit based on values and transferable skills. Join us to make a meaningful difference in what could be the most rewarding role you've ever had.
