Just Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client based in Witham.
Duties include:
* Managing purchase, sales ledger transactions
* Performing regular bank reconciliations
* Daily use of Xero and Microsoft Excel for financial processing and reporting
* Responding to finance-related queries across the business
* Liaising regularly with suppliers to resolve account queries
* Handling customer queries in relation to debt control
* Supporting the accounts team with day-to-day finance operations
* Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy of records
* Providing support to the workshop and other departments as required
Skills required:
* Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and accounting software like Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
* Accuracy: High level of attention to detail for managing financial figures.
* Communication: Ability to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
* A team player who is helpful and reliable
