Receptionist/Administrator

This post will work across the county within our established integrated drug and alcohol treatment service and will work with stakeholders and community members to ensure the best possible care and treatment is available for the service users we work with. The County Durham service has recently been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC and is a great place to work.
Receptionist/Administrator is a diverse and rewarding role, key duties you will undertake are:
* Ensure a friendly, professional, confidential and welcoming environment within the hubs and via the phone for service users, their families/carers and external customers.
* Creating and Maintaining Accurate Data Records using our bespoke system.
* Managing service email accounts
* Providing administration support to wider CDDARS Team
* Liaising with external agencies

About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Maternity Cover 12 month Fixed Term Receptionist/Administrator based within our County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service team. This is a diverse and rewarding role providing reception and admin support to the teams within the hubs. We welcome applications if you are motivated and enthusiastic with a passion to work in a high performing administration team.
Our admin team are a lifeline to our service, providing administrative support to the operational service. If you are adaptable, flexible and willing to work as part of a team with clear task allocation and work outputs then we would welcome an application from you.
You will form part of a Countywide admin team located in the 5 hubs Durham, Consett, Horden, Peterlee and Bishop Auckland; however, your main working base will be Horden. You will be required to travel and work at the other sites where needed, thereforea means of being able to travel across County Durham is required.
Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm with a 9:30am start of 4:30pm finish once per week. There may be some evening or weekend working if required.
About you
* To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the effective running of CDDARS receptionand general administrative duties.
* Understand the need for always adhering to confidentiality and professional boundaries.
* Work flexibly across operational sites as required
* Experience of using Theseus is desirable but not essential.
* Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade of the post
* You will need to be enthusiastic and be able to work under pressure
* You should have strong communication skills, be familiar with all the Microsoft Office packages and have previous administrative experience
* Experience within a drug, alcohol or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.
