Turners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned transport Company. We are looking to recruit Night shift LGV Shunter Drivers to be based at our Newmarket depot.
As a large and ever-expanding company, Turners can take on new candidates with limited experience. We are always keen to take on experienced shunters and recognize the knowledge and strengths you can bring to the organisation.
Various shift patterns available.
Main Duties:
• Movement of Trailers in yard.
• Ensuring the correct temperatures are set on trailers.
• Communicating with the Traffic Office to ensure that trailers are at the required loading points.
Successful applicants will have the following:
• Positive and Proactive approach to work
• Willingness to learn.
• Physical fitness to carry out the role.
• Experience would be advantageous, but we are willing to train the right person.
