A highly respected construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Director (Quantity Surveying) to join its new Edinburgh team. Our Glasgow based client is a well establish multi-disciplinary firm expanding their Scottish presence opening a new office in Edinburgh. This is a senior leadership role within a dynamic, growing company where you’ll combine strategic oversight with hands-on project delivery. Our client has a fantastic range of projects; commercial/office, BTR, PBSA, Hotels, Education and Renewables UK wide.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of significant client relationships, lead the delivery of projects, and play an integral role in business development. This position offers a genuine route to Director level for an ambitious and commercially astute QS professional who wants to influence how a consultancy evolves and grows.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead cost management services on high-profile developments from feasibility to final account
* Drive business development activities and strengthen client relationships
* Provide commercial and contractual leadership across multiple projects
* Manage and mentor team members, fostering technical excellence and professional growth
* Support strategic decisions to shape the future of the business in Scotland
What they’re Looking For
* Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor, ideally chartered (MRICS)
* Proven track record delivering complex projects within a consultancy environment
* Strong commercial acumen, with demonstrable success in developing client accounts
* Excellent knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
* A collaborative leader who is equally comfortable delivering projects and steering strategy

* Salary £70,000 - £75,000 depending on experience
