Our client is seeking a Temporary Administrative Purchasing Assistant to join their dynamic team.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (flexible)
Pay: £12.50ph
Fully on site - No hybrid working
Responsibilities:
* Monitor the UK Admin Purchasing e-mail box daily, taking prompt action on all relevant e-mails within 24/48hrs.
* Provide support to the buying team by expediting unconfirmed and overdue delivery dates.
* Ensure timely response to chaser enquiries, striving for a 24/48hr turnaround time for all enquiries.
* Maintain and update the EU purchase spreadsheet on a daily basis.
* Act as a backup support during periods of holiday and sickness within the buying team.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in purchasing is highly desirable.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in using email, Excel, and purchasing systems.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
