Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic teachers responsible for providing leadership, effective management, and strategic direction to the school. The role involves overseeing the school's affairs for the benefit of pupils and the community, leading and evaluating school policies, and managing curriculum development to enhance educational outcomes.
The post holder must demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and organization.

Requirements
This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If the candidate has spent over 3 months outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.

The grade for this position may change annually, in line with SNCT Handbook, effective from 1st August each year.
Holding the Standard for Headship became a requirement for first-time headteachers in Scotland from 1 August 2020, under Section 28 of the Education (Scotland) Act 2016.
