Position JOB PURPOSE (ROLE DEFINITION): To provide product support to customers, sales agents, and Inspiration Healthcare staff within the infusion market. To assist in building brand loyalty and customer retention and to act as a flexible resource to the UK Sales team throughout the sales process. Sales Support: To assist in building brand loyalty & customer retention as part of managing key customer relationships on an ongoing basis. To act as a flexible resource to the Sales team for pre & post sales activities. To ensure that the Sales team receive timely and updated competency training on clinical applications functions of Inspiration Healthcare and distributed products. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES General Support & undertake training of end users, supporting the sales team with clinical evaluations and study days. Ensure up to date with new clinical practices. Create training tools and documentation in conjunction with other personnel and departments to support this. Ensure that in-house staff are continually up to date with training and techniques associated with the products, new version, new variants etc Document knowledge/techniques for training purposes and organize seminars/workshops, often with opinion leaders from medical/clinical fields Support in house and in situ evaluations where appropriate for new products,, with the support of Engineering, Quality and other departments, as relevant. Act as point of reference for clinical issues for all key relationships (see above). In conjunction with the UK sales team develop and implement regional training workshops/seminars across the UK. Research and document latest clinical knowledge/techniques for training purposes. Keep abreast of latest published works, opinions, and theories etc, review and disseminate to Sales and Design as appropriate. Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and identify reference sites. Evaluate competitor products and compare and contrast to Inspiration Healthcare models. Consolidate and present feedback to sales and marketing. Attend UK conferences/exhibitions as appropriate. Support product/clinical trials for existing products as part of the sales process. Set up and assist clinical evaluations and trials of new modalities and modifications of techniques. Manage in house and in situ evaluations of new products, both manufactured and factored for the UK. Maintain and update CRM system with all customer contacts and activities. Assist Sales team where appropriate in pre and post sales activities to strengthen Inspiration Healthcare's position in marketplace with existing and prospective customer base. Assist in developing new accounts where appropriate. Support the ongoing development of the infusion business branch into acute setting and beyond. Ensure that Sales team are fully appraised of key customer and market information so that potential sales leads Provide ongoing clinical support to the Sales team. Extensive UK travel with occasional international travel Clinical Training Organise and run central "train-the trainer" courses for UK end users at Inspiration Healthcare's HQ or off-site locations comprising - train-the trainer courses supported by training materials workshops sessions for the trainers to practice training each other assessment of competencies opportunities to learn about other Inspiration Healthcare's products and products distributed by Inspiration Healthcare in the UK. MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES None Requirements EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Mandatory A relevant qualification in Life Sciences or related subject and/or relevant experience gained within a medical device industry or similar. Desirable Experience of training on active medical devices KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills. Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise will be expected. Willingness to travel. Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
